On the latest edition of the Discover Central Massachusetts podcast we check in with Mechanics Hall. Built in 1857 it celebrates to this day what man can build. The acoustics at Mechanics Hall are world renowned and musicians from all over the world come to record there. It is fully open, post covid, and ready for you to come to an event or have your next meeting there. We are also joined by the AC Marriott Hotel downtown. So many events are coming downtown and the Marriott Hotel in Worcester is a great destination to stay or get something to drink or eat. Finally, we visit with Corporate Events New England. They work with great organizations to help them plan so they can have the best trade show presence possible. They are an all in one trade show and events provider. Discover Central Mass’s goal is to bring tourists into Central Massachusetts. They also work to bring meetings and conventions into the area which helps to fill our restaurants and stores. They represent Worcester and thirty-four other cities and towns.

We take you to the ribbon cutting of Nuestra, a new restaurant at 55 Pearl St. in the city. 3Step Sports which helps with the branding of youth sports. They can help you with tournaments, club sports, apparel and media content. The Mercantile has been a hit since opening in Worcester. Featuring a rooftop bar, this 500 seat venue is the “it” place to go for young professionals and more. The Mercantile is helping transform the downtown district as a true destination.

The mission of Discover Central Massachusetts is to market Central Massachusetts as a competitive destination for travel and tourism; as well as conventions, meetings, and events. Worcester, which is located in the center of the region, is the state’s second-largest city, and the second-largest city in New England.
