Ed Augustus – Mask Mandate, Worcester Airport, Sewage Leak, and More

Feb 15, 2022

“…Everything is kind of trending in the right direction.””

Worcester City Manager Ed Augustus stopped by for his weekly visit and gave us the behind the scenes on how it could happen that no one knew Gary Rosen wasn’t sworn in when he voted to lift the mask mandate as a member (or so we thought) of the Board of Health. The CM also said he wouldn’t get too excited yet about a merger between Spirit and Frontier airlines producing a new carrier for Worcester Airport. Plus, what really happened at Lake Ave. pumping station that saw millions of gallons of wastewater spewed into Lake Quinsigamond.
