State Senator Lesser announces run for Lt. Governor
State Senator Eric Lesser announced this morning that he is running for Lt. Governor. The Longmeadow Democrat called into Talk of the Commonwealth moments after the announcement on Twitter. He is a strong proponent of increasing rail service in the Bay State especially between Boston, Worcester, Springfield and Pittsfield.
Senator Lesser also spoke with TOTC about how expensive it is for families to live in Massachusetts and how he would work to ensure more economic equality. He stated his main job as Lt. Gov. would be to support the Governor. Lesser was clear in his comments that he felt the next Governor of MA will be a woman.
